SUSTAINABLE TRADE & GOVERNANCE. SBC Institutional Programme Series No. 4
Advancing Responsible Trade Through Good Governance, Institutional Excellence and International Cooperation
The Sustainable Trade & Governance Programme is the Saudi Business Council's institutional programme dedicated to promoting responsible international trade, good governance, institutional resilience, and sustainable economic cooperation.
Developed within the Council of 5 Framework, the Saudi Partnership Dossier, and the Partner Lifecycle methodologies, the Programme recognises that sustainable economic prosperity depends not only upon trade and investment, but also upon transparent institutions, responsible governance, strategic planning, and implementation-oriented international cooperation.
As an independent, non-profit, private-sector association legally registered in the National Register of Associations (Registro Nacional de Asociaciones) of the Ministry of the Interior of the Kingdom of Spain under Registration Number 633101, the Saudi Business Council (SBC) promotes governance-based international cooperation that contributes to sustainable development while supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Programme encourages governments, public institutions, companies, investors, universities, development institutions, and international organisations to strengthen cooperation through governance, knowledge exchange, institutional dialogue, and implementation-oriented partnerships.
Rather than promoting commercial transactions alone, the Programme seeks to strengthen the institutional conditions that enable sustainable international cooperation.
