Terms and Conditions
The Saudi Business Council (hereby referred to as the ‘SBC’) provides this site and information under the terms and conditions described in the text and although it makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, no guarantees whatsoever are made or offered.
It is accepted and understood that the information may contain errors or other limitations and all guarantees, expressed or implied, and the sole and exclusive remedy for any cause whatsoever, is limited to the amount paid, if any payment has been made, to SBC for such information.
SBC and/or its members and team are not liable for any indirect, consequential or any other damages whatsoever, including but not limited to damages for loss of business, profits or similar regardless how such damages may have occurred, including but not limited to negligence, and in any and all event our limitation of liability is limited to the amount that you have paid, if any payment has been made to SBC.
In case this website links to other third party services, those are provided for informational purposes only. This does not constitute an endorsement or association and the SBC neither implies nor offers any guarantee in respect to such services, except for where expressly stated otherwise. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. SBC therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.
Privacy Policy
The Saudi Business Council (hereby referred to as the ‘SBC’) is committed to protecting users’ privacy. This Privacy Policy sets out the types of personal information collected, how it is collected and processed, and the rights and options that users have in this respect.
Personal Data
SBC collects and processes the following personal data from users:
- Identity and Contact Data, including name, address, telephone number, e-mail, employer, job title and function, and other personal data concerning the preferences relevant to its services;
- Financial and Payment Data, including necessary billing address and relevant account numbers.
- Business Information, including information provided in the course of the contractual or client relationship between the user and SBC, or otherwise voluntarily provided by the user or their organisation;
- Profile and Usage Data, including preferences in receiving marketing information from the SBC, communication preferences and information about how the site is used, which is generated automatically by the SBC website service provider (including page interaction, clicks etc.).
- Tracking and Cookies, the site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on its service. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on user´s device.
If a user provides information to the SBC about any person, for instance employees, the user must ensure that they understand how their information will be used, and that they have given their permission for the user to disclose it to the SBC and for the user to allow SBC, and its outsourced service providers, to use it.
Personal Data Collection
The SBC can collect personal data under the following circumstances:
- When users or organizations become a member of the SBC.
- When users or organizations offer to provide, or provides, services to the SBC;
- When it is provided to the SBC by a third party because the user is an employee of one of SBC member organisations, supplier or service provider.
- When the user corresponds with the SBC by email, subscribes to the newsletter or interact on the website or other online platforms.
- When users attend a seminars or other events organized by the SBC.
Personal Data Use
SBC uses the personal data only for the following purposes:
- To fulfil the registration and membership with SBC.
- To process payments, billing and collection;
- To analyse and improve our services and communications;
- To communicate with users about matters related to your membership or interests in SBC. To keep you updated about our services and events; to send you client surveys, marketing campaigns, or other promotional activities; and
Where users give the consent to communicate to keep them updated on SBC services and events, (including newsletters, e-mails and surveys), SBC will only provide them with marketing related information after users have, where legally required to do so, chose to receive those communications and having provided the opportunity for them any time.
SBC does not sell, trade or rent users´ personally identifiable information collected on the site to others.
Disclosure of Personal Data
If any of the personal data provided changes, or if users wish to cancel any request they have made, or if users become aware that SBC has any inaccurate personal data about them, please communicate the situation by email:

User’s Rights
Users have the below rights with respect to the use made by the SBC of their personal data:
- Access: users are entitled to see the personal data held about you.
- Erasure: users have the right to erase their personal data when the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Withdraw consent: users have the right to withdraw their consent to the collection and processing of your personal data. To withdraw the consent, please communicate the situation by email: info@saudibusinesscouncil.com

Once notification that users have withdrawn their consent is received, SBC will no longer process their information for the purpose(s) to which you originally consented unless there is another legal ground for the processing.
Withdrawal of consent to receive marketing communications will not affect the processing of personal data related to a potential membership.
SBC only keeps personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes SBC collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any accounting, or reporting requirements.
Personal Data Storage
The data that collected from users may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (“KSA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the KSA who work for us. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting their personal data, users agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
All information provided to SBC is stored on secure servers. When SBC has given users (or where users have chosen) a password which enables them to access certain parts of the site, users are responsible for keeping this password confidential. SBC recommends users not to share the password with anyone.
Although SBC does its best to protect the personal data, SBC cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted to the site; any transmission is at users own risk. Once the information is received, SBC will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
The Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions would be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the users’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the site. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
